Inspiring Photo's

The first picture I chose is a piece of concept art from, The Prince of Persia. I chose this image because of the way it paints a story. We have the dramatic lighting that frames the bed and the four ghostly figures dressed in white, this gives a sense of mystery as to what might have or will happen here. The color composition is also nice with the dark blues and light purples/pinks.

The second piece I chose also tells a story, I love this piece because the travelers (and even us ) are unaware of the monster that lurks in the forest behind them. Its very simple yet very detailed at the same time and I love it. This piece provokes excitement, with the traveling into the unkown , and fear of what hides in the shadows.

The third image I chose is a concept piece from Disney's Atlantis. I really love this painting because of the lighting and colors that bring out the fantasy of this place. The colors help bring a calm mood to the painting almost dream like.

the forth image is from Disney's Tangled. I truly am in awe with this painting. The beautiful colors and lighting give off a romantic and wonderful fantasy vibe. The castle in the distance with the floating lanterns in the sky create a great fairytale scene. Defiantly one of my favorites.

Last but not least this is a background painting from Okami. The entire game is filled with gorgeous and inspiring artwork. This one os one of my favorites, I love the perspective of how tall the plants are, and how the bottom fades into mist. The little details of the homes built into the plants is great. This piece is just cute and fun to look at.
